Telkom Mobile network downtime – what happened
Update: Telkom has stated that a signalling issue on a fibre link in Rosebank was the cause of temporary downtime on its network.

Telkom users are reporting connectivity issues with the company’s mobile network in some parts of the country.
According to Twitter posts, Telkom’s mobile network is down completely for some users – with no calls going through and no data connectivity.
Down Detector’s Telkom Mobile page shows reports of network issues spiking at around 11:00 on 23 February.
