BlackBerry for under R100 per month
Altech Autopage Cellular today launched the first BlackBerry deal in South Africa for under R100 per month.
Available from 24 to 28 November, new Altech Autopage Cellular subscribers can purchase the BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone on a 24-month Vodacom Everyday Off-Peak 120 contract for R99 per month, including BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).
“In a country where the number of mobile phones far outstrips the number of Internet-connected computers, the smartphone divide is as important as the digital divide.. The Smartphone segment is a strategic focus for Altech Autopage Cellular,” commented Boyd Chislett, Managing Director of Altech Autopage Cellular.
“Aggressively-priced handset and contract deals will go a long way towards ensuring that South Africans have access to the internet and email,” said Chislett.
Altech Autopage Cellular said that the R99 BlackBerry deal is the first of five “killer deals” that Altech Autopage Cellular will be launching over the holiday season. Each deal will be announced on a Wednesday and will be valid until Sunday.
