MTN lays off 63 temporary staff
MTN South Africa will not renew certain labour broker contracts when they expire on 31 July.
The decision will affect 63 temporary staff at its Midrand warehouse.
“MTN SA is streamlining and modernising its Midrand warehouse operations to improve efficiencies and customer service,” it said.
“MTN SA has provided the labour brokers notice of its decision not to renew the contracts and has also provided an undertaking for payment to the labour brokers and their staff for the notice period.”
