Cell C’s partnerships with mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) have brought in over one million customers.
“Cell C has created a focussed strategy to embrace sound partnerships with exceptional brands. This has allowed us to grow the MVNO base substantially,” said Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos.
Cell C has more than 24 million customers.
“MVNOs have incredible insights into their customers’ needs and based on those insights they can offer very targeted products,” said Dos Santos.
Cell C said it has invested significantly in a mobile virtual network enabler platform, which lets it launch MVNOs efficiently.
Cell C said it is the only mobile network operator in South Africa to offer a dedicated MVNO/E platform.
Cell C said in addition to its MVNO clients, it has also nearly trebled its subscriber base in the last four years.
