Nokia expects 'some disruption'

The Finland-based company says the catastrophe will affect its ability “to supply a number of products due to the currently anticipated industrywide shortage of relevant components and raw materials sourced from Japan.”

Nokia said Monday that its main consideration was to support its employees and their families affected by the disaster and help with relief efforts through the Japanese Red Cross.

The world’s largest cellphone maker said it will work with suppliers worldwide in an effort to minimize impacts of the disaster.
