Cell C 42Mbps HSPA+ launching next week
Cell C launched its first 21Mbps HSPA+ services in Port Elizabeth in September 2010 – shaking up the mobile broadband market with its aggressively priced data promotions.
At the time Cell C CEO Lars Reichelt promised that they will upgrade their network to 42Mbps in future, and Port Elizabeth is once again the first city which will receive higher access speeds.
Cell C will launch its new 42Mbps network in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday night (19 April 2011), and to celebrate the company is inviting three Port Elizabeth based MyBroadband members and three members from other parts of the country to attend the event.
Cell C will cover all travelling expenses for MyBroadband members outside of Port Elizabeth to attend their 42Mbps HSPA+ launch in Port Elizabeth.
