Uncapped mobile data packages typically do not enjoy the same perks as their fixed-line counterparts.
While they feature similar parameters – including fair usage policies (FUP) and throttled speeds in certain scenarios – the price and data offerings are miles apart.
Mobile packages offer unthrottled data until a fair usage limit is hit, after which the subscriber’s speed is throttled until the end of the bundle’s usage period.

Telkom and MTN prominently advertise their uncapped offerings for smartphone users, with no similar offers found from Vodacom and Cell C.
