Telkom has expanded its free streaming data offerings LIT Music and LIT Video to FreeMe Boost bundles.
These may be bolted on to any of its prepaid or contract packages.
Previously, its LIT services were limited to FreeMe contract subscribers and standalone bundles launched in November.
To qualify for LIT Music, you must buy a Boost bundle of 2GB or greater. This will give you 5GB of data to use on music streaming services.
For LIT Video, you need to buy a Boost bundle of 5GB or greater, which will give you 25GB of data for streaming video.
Services supported by LIT include:
- Google Play Music and Movies
- iTunes and Apple Music
- Simfy Africa
- DStv BoxOffice
- DStv Now
Telkom said it plans to add more services to LIT’s list in the future.
