Vodacom’s price increases – All the details

Vodacom is increasing prices on certain plans from 1 April 2018, the company announced.

Vodacom said the price increases are due to “the government regulatory Value Added Tax increase” and its “annual price adjustment”.

“In our ongoing commitment to lower the cost of communication, many bundles have not increased in price,” said Vodacom.

The terms and conditions of the packages remain unchanged, it added.

Vodacom said users can check what price plan they are on using the following methods.

USSD Prepaid

  • Dial *135#.
  • Select option 11 “Services”.
  • Select option 4 “My Price Plan”.

USSD Post-paid and Hybrid

  • Dial *135#.
  • Select option 9 “Services”.
  • Select option 5 “My Price Plan”.

My Vodacom App

  • Open the My Vodacom App.
  • On the promotions page select “Proceed to My Vodacom”.
  • Open the menu and select “My Account” and then “Account Details”.
  • Login when prompted.
