Afrihost announces 10GB free mobile data and R100 free airtime offer

Afrihost CEO Gian Visser has sent an email to customers promising an offer of 10GB free mobile data and R100 airtime.

The offer will become available next week when the Internet service provider relaunches its mobile virtual network operator, AirMobile.

AirMobile will also offer eSIMs for the first time, allowing subscribers to access the offer without waiting for a physical SIM.

However, Visser said they will still deliver new physical SIMs to subscribers if their phones don’t support eSIM.

“It’s our way of saying a HUGE ‘Thank You!’ for trusting us with your Internet and it’ll also give you a chance to try out our brand new AirMobile data and cellular service that we’re relaunching,” Visser stated.

“We’ve spent the last 21 months working flat out building it completely from the ground up and I honestly believe it’s the best mobile service out there.”

Visser said the only catch was that they were limiting the amount of promotional deals they were giving away.

“The truth is we simply cannot afford to give 10GB of mobile data and R100 airtime to everyone for free,” he said.

“And if you miss that email from me or if you get it but don’t grab your 10GB and R100 airtime in time then you will miss out.”

Visser said they would be offering the promotion to all of its clients next week, which is hundreds of thousands of people.

However, there will only be a limited number of free accounts available.

He said they would send subscribers an email on Tuesday, 6 February, with details on how to claim the deal.

“When you get it, if you want to grab your free 10GBs and R100 airtime please do it right away.”

MyBroadband contacted Afrihost for more details about the relaunch, but it did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
