Vodacom launches cheaper iPhone Smart Plans
Vodacom launched its latest “iPhone Smart Plans” contract packages on 17 July, providing subscribers with much better value for money than its previous offerings.
The new Vodacom iPhone Smart Plans provide more affordable options for consumers looking to own an iPhone than the company’s iPhone 120, iPhone 240, and iPhone 500 packages.
Pricing starts at R319 per month which includes 95 bundled minutes, 100 SMS messages, and 100MB of data per month. It should be noted that the bundled minutes are made up of off-peak and anytime on-net minutes.
This announcement came only days after Cell C launched the iPhone on its network at aggressive rates.
Cell C’s pricing starts at R279 per month which includes an 8GB iPhone 4, 50 anytime minutes (to any network), 50 SMS messages and 350MB of data per month.
