Unlimited vs Limitless: Vodacom hits back at Telkom Mobile

Vodacom has launched a new advertising campaign highlighting the benefits of its ‘limitless’ Red VIP smartphone price plan over Telkom Mobile’s Unlimited product.

This marketing campaign by Vodacom follows radio and TV advertisements by Telkom Mobile which poked fun at Vodacom’s ‘limitless’ products.

Telkom Mobile and Vodacom are offering smartphone plans with unlimited calls, but Telkom Mobile’s offering is significantly cheaper than Vodacom’s.

  • Vodacom Red for R1,999 per month: Limitless calls, Limitless SMSs and 1.5GB of data
  • Telkom Mobile Unlimited Voice for R1,199 per month: Unlimited calls, No SMSs, No data

Telkom Mobile is making the most of its cheaper rate, although it does not offer the same as Vodacom, in its new advertising campaign.
