Neotel hosting billing concerns

Neotel

Neotel has been misreporting bandwidth usage and power consumption in its data centre, but the company said it has now fixed the problem.

Neotel informed its data centre customers that usage collectors in its data centres collecting data for the burstable per GB Internet service and per-kWh power consumption have been misreporting consumption figures.

The company said that this problem has been corrected, and that its clients can expect the correct figures on their October 2014 invoices.

It is currently not clear for how long Neotel has had the reporting problems, and what the cause of the problems were.

MyBroadband asked Neotel for comment on the issue, but the company did not respond by the time of publication.
