SkyLight one-stop cloud services portal launched

Internet Solutions has launched SkyLight, its aggregated cloud services portal.

Billed as the first portal of its kind in the world, Internet Solutions said it delivers the world’s biggest cloud by providing access to local and global platforms through a single portal.

Cloud services from Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, Internet Solutions Cloud, and Dimension Data Cloud are available through a single login.

More services will be added to the platform in future.

You can choose one virtual environment for your business, or select different environments for different departments, deployments, or workloads.

Provisioning or decommissioning machines happens instantaneously via the portal.

SkyLight also offers a range of security and performance management functions across virtual environments and on all cloud platforms

Monitoring of firewalls, networks, usage, and load balancers is included, while custom permissions, audit logs, and roll-back functionality are built in.

SkyLight users will receive one consolidated bill in rand, along with usage statistics.
