Hetzner’s managed servers get more data and RAM
Hetzner has upgraded its managed server products, which now include more RAM, higher traffic quotas, and solid state drives for all managed commerce servers.
The traffic quota increases for managed servers are as follows:
- Managed: From 200GB to 500GB
- Managed Plus: From 600GB to 750GB
- Managed Commerce: From 600GB to 1TB
Apart from the higher traffic quotas, there was also a 70% decrease in the traffic overusage fee for all managed and self-managed servers – from R2.20 to 65c per GB.
The same price reduction was also applied to Hetzner’s colocation customers.
The new tariffs and server upgrades kicked in on 1 August.
