FibreCo opens hosting facility in Yzerfontein
FibreCo has opened a hosting facility in Yzerfontein.
“Located directly opposite the WACS landing station, FibreCo has overcome current cable landing station hosting challenges and provides clients with open-access hosting and co-location facilities, connecting directly into the undersea cable landing station”, said Marius Mostert, FibreCo’s Chief Technical Officer.
“Clients now have the flexibility to manage their own routing protection and enable end customer network interfaces directly from the cable landing station.”
“In addition, the hosting facility is an aggregation point for the developing surrounding areas of Yzerfontein.”
FibreCo’s network now spans over 4,000km, and consists of fibre routes, high-speed optical equipment, and carrier-grade equipment hosting facilities.
