Teraco has announced it will be a Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute Connectivity partner.
This lets the company provide clients with high-performance private network connections to Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft Cloud Services.
“Teraco will be one of the first companies to offer access to the Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute sites in Africa, when Azure becomes generally available in 2018,” it said.
Clients will be able to connect to Azure ExpressRoute via the Teraco Cloud Exchange in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
“Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute is a great addition to the Teraco Cloud Exchange platform and meets the significant demands of our colocated enterprise and service provider customers, who are building hybrid solutions based on Microsoft Cloud Technologies,” said Lex van Wyk, Teraco CEO.
