Google launches digital store to sell cloud-based software

Google has partnered with MobileIron to launch a digital store which offers cloud-based software to companies.

Google said the partnership aims to merge Google Cloud’s Orbitera platform with MobileIron’s app distribution capabilities.

“By combining MobileIron’s security and enterprise mobility management tools with Orbitera, we’re creating one place to deploy, secure, manage, and analyse business applications,” it said.

The platform will offer various capabilities, including:

  • Bundle and brand customisation.
  • One monthly invoice for customers.
  • Secure cloud access.
  • App usage analytics.
