Data quota boost on Hetzner dedicated hosting
Hetzner announced a large hike in traffic quotas on its Dedicated Server product range today (11 April 2012), increasing data caps by up to 200%
“This traffic adjustment is part of our continued effort to increase the overall value proposition for our customers,” said Deon de Villiers, Hetzner’s Managing Director.
This latest bump in data quotas from Hetzner follows an increase in November 2011 where dedicated hosting traffic was boosted by up to 400%.
Hetzner’s increase towards the end of last year also saw a doubling in traffic allotments on shared hosting packages and a decrease in over-usage costs across the board.
The table below outlines the new traffic quotas and the percentage by which they have been increased:
| Servers | New quotas | % increase |
|---|---|---|
| Managed | 100 GB | 100% |
| Managed Plus | 300 GB | 200% |
| Managed Commerce | 300 GB | 200% |
| TruServ | 200 GB | 167% |
| TruServ Plus | 500 GB | 150% |
| TruServ Commerce | 500 GB | 150% |
