Hetzner 1TB server bandwidth boost
Hetzner is increasing the data quota for all TruServ servers by between 100% and 150%. Standard TruServ clients will now get 500GB of monthly usage while TruServ Plus and TruServ Commerce clients will get 1TB of monthly data.
Hetzner’s over-usage rate for these servers are R7 per GB, well below what local hosting subscribers paid in the past.
Hetzner also announced that all new server deployments will be activated within an average of 8 business hours after a new order is placed. “This applies to standard builds across our Dedicated Server range,” Hetzner said in a press statement.
“If you’re looking to order another TruServ server, August is the time to do it: all new TruServ Plus servers receive free setup for the full month of August,” Hetzner said.
