Afrihost hosting goes uncapped

Afrihost Hosting

Afrihost has removed all excess bandwidth charges on its shared hosting packages from 1 May 2013, providing for unlimited data usage on its hosting.

“This means that clients will no longer be charged a per GB fee when their bandwidth usage exceeds the package limit, effectively removing all web traffic limits on shared hosting products,” Afrihost explained.

Afrihost said that this will make their shared hosting offering an attractive option to South African clients, while saving many of their existing clients a little extra on their monthly fees.

This decision by Afrihost follows MWEB’s decision in March 2011 to offer uncapped hosting at R19 a month.
