Eskom load shedding update: 10 May

Eskom will implement stage 1 load shedding from 07:00 to 22:00 on 10 May.

The new round of power cuts follows load shedding on both 8 and 9 May.

Eskom said any unexpected changes in the vulnerable and constrained power system could lead to a change in the load shedding stage at short notice.

“Eskom calls on all customers to reduce the load on the electricity grid by urgently switching off geysers, air conditioners, pool pumps and all non-essential appliances throughout the day, which will reduce electricity demand,” Eskom said during recent load shedding.
