Load-shedding breaks are back — here is the new timetable
Eskom has announced it will suspend load-shedding during most day-time hours in the coming week.
The power utility said this was possible due to improved generation capacity and sufficient emergency reserves.
Between 16:00 on Sunday, 5 November 2023 and 05:00 on Monday, 6 November 2023, Eskom will implement stage 2 load-shedding, as communicated previously.
Thereafter, load-shedding will be suspended from 05:00 until 16:00 on Monday.
Stage 2 load-shedding will resume from 16:00 until 05:00 on Tuesday, 7 November 2023.
“This pattern of suspending load-shedding during the day and stage 2 load-shedding during the evening peak will be repeated daily until further notice,” the utility said.
“Eskom will communicate should any significant changes occur.”
The table below outlines Eskom’s load-shedding schedule for the next few days.
