123Net hiring local for FTTH roll-out

123Net has started rolling out network infrastructure across South Africa, and needs to expand its teams.

“We’re ready to start hiring teams to begin construction in Durban, Cape Town, Pretoria, Johannesburg, and Secunda,” said 123Net CEO Kalin Bogatzevski.

“Now that our modern machinery has been bought, we need qualified personnel to come on board and join the 123Net family, as we plan to implement our roll-out programme starting from September.”

123Net said its “on-demand” signup programmes have been a success, and members of communities in numerous suburbs of Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Secunda have shown their interest in receiving fibre services.
