Many telecommunications operators are rolling out fibre-to-the-home networks across South Africa, with access speeds ranging between 4Mbps and 1Gbps.
Following the availability of fibre infrastructure, Internet service providers started offering FTTH data services over these networks.
While most providers initially preferred to offer capped products, uncapped services are starting to gain momentum.
Here are some of the prominent uncapped fibre-to-the-home products available to users who have access to fibre.
It should be noted that these prices are area specific, and that additional services – like a VoIP service and free voice minutes – were not taken into account for the comparison.
