Kyalami Estates to get 100Mbps FTTH

Metrofibre Networx has been appointed to deliver fibre-to-the-home to Kyalami Estates.

Kyalami Estates was one of the first security estates established in South Africa, and has 1,100 homes as part of the gated village.

Metrofibre through ISP RocketNet will offer residential connectivity with speeds of up to 100Mbps.

Metrofibre is partnering with RocketNet – its preferred service provider for the FTTH services.

The project will start towards the end of February, and will be rolled out in a phased approach. The total investment from Metrofibre into the project is expected to be around R13 million.

Metrofibre Networx’s fibre footprint now extends to Kyalami, Sunninghill, Barbeque Downs, Lonehill, Beaulieu, Heathcliff and Blue Hills estates, Glenferness, Paulshof, Sandton, and Rivonia.
