How many homes can get Telkom fibre

Telkom has released its results for the year ended 31 March 2016, which show that the company has passed 81,503 homes with its fibre infrastructure.
Its results also showed that the operator counted 8,129 fibre subscribers as part of its broadband customer base.
“In the year ahead we plan on an aggressive fibre roll-out as our number one priority while simultaneously deploying our other capital resources with a focus on revenue generation and cost efficiency as we seek to grow earnings,” said Telkom.
The company said it spent R757 million on FTTH infrastructure during the period, which is part of its strategy to “enhance its focus” on fibre deployment.
Telkom said it is still on track to pass 1 million homes with fibre by 2018.
