Cell C Fibre “exceeds expectations”
Cell C launched its first FTTH products, C-Fibre, in April, and according to the company it is pleased with the uptake in the Johannesburg area.
“The response to our products has far exceeded our expectations,” said Cell C.
It said the constant growth of Vumatel’s network across the region allows for continuously-improving coverage, and means the C-Fibre footprint is expanding.
“We are also in discussions with other vendors and have solidified agreements with several vendors in Gauteng as well as the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal regions,” said Cell C.
Cell C said the new fibre providers will be announced once they have a successful “go live”.
“Our ability to provide a good service to our customers is in place and we are ready to scale.”
