No Surface Pro 3 plans for South Africa yet

There are currently no plans to bring the Surface Pro 3 to the South African market, a spokesperson for Microsoft South Africa has told MyBroadband.
A key area of focus for the company at the moment is to bring quality, lower cost devices to the local market, the spokesperson added.
Microsoft first unveiled the Surface Pro 3 at an event in New York City on 20 May 2014, announcing that it would go on pre-order in the US from the following day.
A model of the device is set to launch in North America from 20 June 2014, with wider availability across Europe, Asia, and Oceania by the end of August.
The Surface Pro 3 is larger, but lighter than its predecessor, and features a 12-inch display running at a resolution of 2160×1440.
Like the Surface tablets that came before it, the Surface Pro 3 will also have a range of type covers, and also features a kickstand.
However, the Surface Pro 3’s kickstand doesn’t have a few pre-determined positions but instead lets you set the angle to whatever you want between 0 and 150 degree, Microsoft said.
