iPad price cuts for South Africa

Core Group, official distributor of Apple products in South Africa, announced in a press release on Friday, 24 October 2014, that it had reduced the recommended retail prices of various iPad models.

The announcement follows Apple’s unveiling of the next generation of iPads: the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.

Prices will already be reduced at some of its retail partners, Core said, including Apple Premium Resellers Digicape and iStore, and selected Apple Authorised Retailers and resellers.

For a full list of partners, customers should visit the Core website, the distributor said.

Although Core Group may suggest retail prices, these are suggestions only and the reseller is entirely free to determine the actual prices at which products will be sold.

The reduced recommended retail pricing for the iPads is summarised in the table below.
