Microsoft unveils Surface Pro 4
Microsoft has unveiled its Surface Pro 4 tablet, which it said is thinner, lighter, and more powerful than its predecessors.
The device is powered by Intel’s new 6th-gen Skylake processors and runs Windows 10.
A fingerprint sensor on the keyboard, 12.3-inch display, and a new Surface Pen were punted as some of the Pro 4’s standout features by the company.
Microsoft said the device’s display features the best touchscreen available, stating that the Pro 4 is in a class of its own and cannot be compared to other tablets.
The device is also a claimed 50% faster than Apple’s MacBook Air. Storage options go up to 1TB, and 16GB of RAM is available.
The Surface Pro 4 will start at $899 – available from 26 October.
