Tag Heuer launching Android smartwatch
Luxury Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer has set a date for the launch of its Android Wear smartwatch, the Tag Heuer Connected.
The watch will be unveiled at an event in New York on 9 November, and the Swiss company has launched a website counting down the days the the event.
“Tag Heuer is pushing the Swiss avant-garde limits even further with the Tag Heuer Connected. Tradition meets innovation, craftsmanship meets savoir-faire, and bold style meets breakthrough technology,” a statement said on the website.
Tag Heuer Connected has been developed in partnership with Intel and Google.
It is believed that the watch will cost $1,400 (R18,860).
Last week, Apple revealed its watch prices for South Africa, ranging between R5,899 and R18,499.
