Tally – the world’s first autonomous shelf auditing robot

Simbe Robotics recently announced the availability of the Tally – the world’s first robotic autonomous shelf auditing and analytics solution.

This robot is aimed at addressing the problem of out-of-stock items and empty shelves.

The solution consists of mobile robots that can autonomously traverse retail environments to capture, report, and analyse the state and availability of merchandise.

Tally performs the tasks of auditing shelves for out-of-stock items, low-stock items, misplaced items, and pricing errors.

Tally operates during normal store hours alongside shoppers and employees.

The data captured by the robot is sent to the cloud for processing and analysis. The data is then exposed through both an API and front-end application, which can be used to make recommendations to improve store performance.
