An alarm clock which wakes you up with smell

Sensorwake is presenting the final version of its aroma alarm clock at CES 2016, which has received the Innovation Award in the Home Appliances category at this year’s event.
Sensorwake wakes you with a timed release of an aroma of your choice rather than a ringtone.
Like an espresso machine, users choose their preferred scent by inserting a recyclable, 30-use capsule.
When the alarm goes off, Sensorwake pops open a hatch and gradually releases fragrance until nearby sleepers wake up.
Tests have shown Sensorwake to be as effective as a sound-based alarm, waking up 99% of sleepers within two minutes.
For the 1% with a stuffy nose, Sensorwake has a backup alarm that you can program to ring.
The Sensorwake team will start production in January and will ship the alarm clock to its Kickstarter backers in May 2016.
Pre-orders are also open for $109, with a shipping date planned for Q2 2016.
