Apple may make Digital Glasses – Report
Apple is considering making digital glasses, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The device would connect wirelessly to an iPhone and show images and other information to a user.
The report stated the glasses may also provide an augmented reality function, according to sources with knowledge of the matter.
Apple has reportedly already contacted suppliers about the project and has ordered a batch of near-eye displays for testing.
If Apple goes ahead with production, the digital glasses would enter the market in 2018, stated the report.
Apple declined to comment on the report.
