LG Airport Guide Robot helps lost travellers

LG is showcasing its Airport Guide Robot at CES 2017, which will soon be available to travellers in Seoul’s Incheon International Airport.

The LG Airport Guide Robot is an information assistant for travellers, answering questions in four languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

“With a simple scan of a passenger’s ticket, the robot can provide detailed information about a flight’s boarding time and gate location, and even the weather of a traveller’s destination city,” said LG.

The airport robot offers directions to destinations inside an airport, along with estimated distances and walking times. It can also escort travellers to their gates or any other airport location.
