Production of a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro has been moved to March, up from a previous timetable set for May/June, DigiTimes reported.
The Taiwanese publication reported that the new iPad will be unveiled at Apple’s new headquarters in April.
MacRumors reported that Apple would announce products later this month, though, likely between 20-24 March.
The rumour that there will be a launch event at Apple’s headquarters on 4 April is based on an incorrect interpretation of “Personal Pickup” dates for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, said MacRumours.
The news follows KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicting that Apple would launch three new iPads in the second quarter of 2017.
Kuo said Apple would announce a cheaper 9.7-inch iPad, an approximately 10-inch iPad, and a 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
