Google Glass gets its first update in years

Despite being effectively abandoned for years, the Google Glass companion app MyGlass has received an update which adds support for a number of features.

The app update was closely followed by a firmware update for the Google Glass device.

The update added bug fixes and support for Bluetooth connectivity, including for peripherals such as mice and keyboards.

Other new features include the ability to ignore battery optimisations, notification sync improvements, and various performance improvements.

Google Glass was launched in 2013, but has since been taken off the market.
