Google unveils Home Max smart speaker

Google has unveiled a new smart speaker, its biggest ever, called the Home Max.

The Google Home Max features two 4.5-inch subwoofers and custom 0.7-inch tweeters to provide improved sound over other Google Home products.

The Max speaker has Google Assistant built in, along with Smart Sound – which dynamically changes the speaker’s sound depending on its location in a room and the subsequent acoustics.

The device works horizontally and vertically, and supports multiple services – including Google Play Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Pandora.

Google Home Max will be available from December for $399, and will include a free 12-month subscription to YouTube Red.
