Razer has revealed its new desktop webcam and microphone products which aim to help gamers deliver professional-quality live streams.
The Razer Kiyo camera is equipped with an adjustable ring light with support for 12 levels of brightness, meaning streamers no longer have to rely on low-light compensation.
The camera delivers a 720p image at 60fps or up to 1080p at 30fps and is compatible with Open Broadcaster Software and XSplit.
Razer’s Seiren X USB condenser microphone features a shock mount and is equipped with 25mm condenser capsules for improved sensitivity.
Razer said the microphone’s pickup pattern “records sound at a tighter and more precise angle optimised for streaming”.
Both the Razer Kiyo and Seiren X will be priced at $100 and will be available from the Razer store in October 2017.
