Amazon launches Cloud Cam
Amazon has launched its Cloud Cam, an “intelligent indoor security camera”.
“Cloud Cam features 1080p resolution video, night vision, two-way audio, a wide viewing angle, and activity clips from the last 24 hours via the Amazon Cloud Cam App,” said Amazon.
Users can also receive notifications when the Cloud Cam sees activity, and it comes with a 30-day free trial of “person detection”, Zones, and additional cloud storage.
The camera also works with the Amazon Key delivery service and compatible smart locks for in-home deliveries.
The device will sell for $119.99. Users can purchase a Cloud Cam two-pack for $199.99, or three-pack for $289.99.
It is set to launch in the US on 8 November.
