Samsung have revealed local pre-order contract pricing for their tablet/smartphone hybrid, the Galaxy Note.
We’ve known the Samsung Galaxy Note was due to launch in early November 2011, but Samsung hadn’t confirmed any pricing information until now.
An event for the launch of the Galaxy Note is to be held in Sandton next week Wednesday (2 November 2011).
Where the networks differ in their offers is the amount of data bundled on the contract:
- Cell C: R379 x 24 months. – 500MB x 24 months.
- Vodacom: R379 x 24 months – 100MB x 12 months.
Cell C offers significantly more data with their bundle on the device, while the data allotment from Vodacom dries up half way through the contract.
The Galaxy Note boasts a 5.3-inch WXGA (1280×800) Super AMOLED touch display, uses the Android 2.3 “Gingerbread,” OS, and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual core processor.
