Nexus 10 uncertainty for SA
Google decides where and when its new Samsung-built Nexus 10 tablet PC will be launched, a Samsung spokesperson recently told MyBroadband.
“While Samsung developed the device, Google has selected countries in which to launch which do not include SA,” Samsung said.
Local representatives of the Korean electronics giant went on to explain that the Nexus 10 will be available in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, and Spain when the product launches in mid-November.
It will be available in Japan later this year as well, Samsung said. “After that, we believe it will be gradually rolled out to other global markets.”
However, Samsung said it doesn’t have any indication at this stage as to the availability of the Nexus 10 in South Africa.
