SEAMAF, distributor of Sharp products in SA, has announced that the 90-inch Sharp Aquos LED TV will be priced at R250,000.
A SEAMAF spokesperson said the TV is available at high-end retailers such as Masons, PNG, Audio Architects, and Cinema Architects.
The TV itself features a 90-inch diagonal LED screen, and is touted as the “World’s Largest LED TV”, and boasts the Aquos UV2A 1080p display, uses a “unique, precision pixel structure to deliver dynamic HD images”, and features an 8 million: 1 contrast ratio.
The Aquos also includes 35W audio with built-in subwoofer, built in Wi-Fi, and Smart features using Sharp’s SmartCentral user interface to browse the web or download apps.
The 3D capabilities feature the Quattron 3D technology, which adds a yellow pixel to the standard red-green-blue pixels to help light pass through more easily, delivering a brighter image.
