More details around Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear, and Note 3 “phablet” have leaked online ahead of its official launch on Wednesday, 4 September 2013.
Putting together the reports from GigaOM, SamMobile, and AmongTech, the following list of specifications emerged:
- 2.5-inch 320×320 OLED display;
- 1.5GHz Samsung Exynos 4212 dual-core processor;
- Mali–400 MP4 graphics;
- Android Jelly Bean (4.1 or 4.2)
- 4 megapixel camera in the strap;
- Speakers in the clasp;
- Near field communications;
- Bluetooth 4.0 LE;

GigaOM indicated that its information comes from developers that have been seeded with the Samsung Galaxy Gear and noted that the internal storage sizes listed by AmongTech of 8GB and 6GB are curious.
