Nokia Lumia 1520, 1320, 2520 confirmed for SA

Cell C and Vodacom both have plans to offer Nokia’s newly announced Lumia 2520 Windows 8.1 RT tablet PC in 2014.
A spokesperson for Vodacom said they are hoping for an early 2014 launch, but details will be confirmed closer to the time.
Cell C also plans to range the large-screened Nokia Lumia 1520 and 1320 Windows Phone 8 smartphones, a spokesperson for the company said.
“Ranging” refers to a network operator committing to buy stock of a device over a certain period.
The spokesperson said that availability will depend on network testing, but added that they are hoping the new smartphones will be available early next year.
“Pricing will be made available closer to the launch date,” Cell C said.
MTN SA’s head of products & solutions, Mike Fairon, said that they are busy testing Nokia devices for use on their network.
“MTN will make the necessary announcements to media about ranging Nokia products and its pricing once all relevant tests and quality checks have been done,” Fairon said.
