Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo announced

Samsung Electronics announced the Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo in a press release issued on Sunday, 23 February 2014.
Both devices have a 1.63-inch display that supports a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels, are powered by a 300mAh battery, and boast a 1.0GHz dual core processor that runs the Tizen operating system.
They have 512MB of memory (RAM), and 4GB of internal storage.
The key difference between the two devices is that the Gear 2 has a 2 megapixel camera built into the body of the watch.
Another, somewhat smaller difference, is the strap colour options available to the devices. While “Charcoal Black”, and “Wild Orange” straps are available for both devices, “Gold Brown” is only available to the Gear 2, while only the Gear 2 Neo can have a “Mocha Grey” strap.
Samsung said that the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will be available from April 2014 and will be compatible with “dozens dozens of Samsung Galaxy smartphones at launch.”
