PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was the best-selling Steam game in South Africa in October, according to SteamSpy.
SteamSpy is run by game developer Sergey Galyonkin, who collects data from Steam as part of the SteamSpy project.
With Steam currently the dominant online platform for PC gaming, data from the service provides a good indication of popular PC titles in SA.

At the start of November, SteamSpy showed the following statistics for Steam in SA:
- Total active users – 653,541 ± 76,557
- Average playtime (2 weeks) – 30:15
- Active users (2 weeks) – 34%
- Active users (total) – 89%

The games detailed below were the top-sellers in South Africa for October, according to SteamSpy.
