Top South African ISPs on Steam
Steam has updated its performance statistics for the most popular Internet service providers connecting to its platform.
South Africans downloaded 409.5TB from Steam at an average rate of 7.8Mbps over the past week, stated Valve.
This only accounted for 0.2% of the total traffic downloaded from the platform during the period, however, making South Africa one of Steam’s smaller markets.
Top ISPs
The table below ranks the most popular ISPs in South Africa accessing Steam, based on the number of bytes delivered to that network from Steam.
Steam does not detail the number of bytes delivered – but, it does show the average download rates of the ISPs.
Telkom took top spot for total traffic delivered over its network, while Cool Ideas took first place when it came to average download speeds.
The ranking below is based on traffic over the listed ISPs.
