Nvidia has unveiled its GeForce RTX 20 Series gaming graphics cards at Gamescom, headlined by the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.
The cards will deliver the “ultimate PC gaming experience”, said Nvidia.
“Powered by the new Nvidia Turing GPU architecture and the revolutionary RTX platform, RTX graphics cards bring together real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading. This is a whole new way to experience games,” stated the company.
Nvidia said the new hardware delivers six-times the performance of previous-generation graphics cards.
Nvidia G-Sync is also supported by the new cards, added the company.
As part of the launch announcement, Nvidia unveiled three new cards which make up the 20 Series – the RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080, and RTX 2070.
Founders Edition versions of the cards are now available for pre-order, and will start shipping from 20 September 2018.
